Amba war: " battle for Bui" Amba resistance forced military to retreat to Ndop

Four days the battle for Bui division continues with government forces trying to find their way into Bui division of the North West region, through a fierce battle. By Wednesday 29th of September 2021 in the evening, seperatist fighters were still battling with the heavily armed government military convoy at Sop a neighborhood in Jakiri in what might be termed as one of the longest battle entering day 4 unstoppable. The Military Helicopter also came to play its part in the battle in vain and could not stay long for the fear of being brought down since Amba fighters are using rocket-propelled grenade ( RPG) The military convoy has taken 4days from Wainama the border village with Ngoketunjia with the hope of joining their colleagues in Kumbo, since Monday 27 September 2021. The Battle according to a source in Bui, forced some elements to return to Ngoketunjia for more back up . Anglophone crises: Residents of Sisia quarter loses cell phones to government forces

Cell phones belonging to some residents of sisia quarter in Nkwen, Bda 3 sub division are in possession of some security forces that stormed the neighborhood on Tuesday 28th September 2021. According to sources around the area, an unknown quarter member was taking videos of the security elements as they carried out security checks in the quarter. The forces discovered the action and the Filmer escaped. With the frustration and unable to get the guy who was doing the filming, the elements embarked on the sizure of cell phones from everyone they saw around the area. "We only heard government forces hitting our gates and asking everyone to bring out cell phones ,else we will regret. They were asking the person doing the video taping and we didn't know. Bamenda: young man killed in an attempted robbery

A young man by name Niba Micheal Suh has been killed in Bamenda after an attempted robbery. Early Wednesday morning 22nd of September 2021, his corpse was discovered lying in a gutter close to the stream at Ngeng junction Bamenda. Residents have testified that Niba Micheal and his gang were about burglaring a shop at Ngeng juction at about 11pm Tuesday night, when a night watchman in one of the structures at Ngeng junction, realised and then alerted his colleagues around the area. Others who were with Niba escaped , and in an attempt to jump down from the ceiling where he was trying to penetrate into the shop, he was caught and beaten to death. With the arrival of army rescue unit, no one was able to show up and testify to them what happened. " He was with friends, three in numbers. Gunmen kills DUDU a "bouncer" in Bamenda

Fondly called Dudu, he worked at BINAM snack bar at carifour Nkwen Bamenda 3 sub division. He is from the West region of Cameroon, was killed and his body dropped at Mbessi junction mile 4 Nkwen on September 15th 2021 at about 6:30pm. Dudu was taken by gun men a month ago from the snack bar where he works. Gun men stormed the bar and wanted to take the bar owner, the bar owner resisted and asked to better be killed than go with them. The bar owner was hit on the head and he collapsed, then Dudu who was his chief security officer ( bouncer) at that time, was taken away. Wednesday night, a source around mile 4 were his corpse was lying said, he was brought on a motor bike shot and dropped on the spot. Then a placard with inscription "Blackleg " placed on his body. Bamenda: Retired teacher who died, caused by gun shots, buried

 Daddy Yemen Chuba Andreas, retired government teacher from GBHS Down Town in Bamenda has been buried. Yemen Chuba Andreas, an English Language and English Literature teacher, died from a heart attack triggered by sound of gun shots on August 9th 2021 at old town Bamenda. Family sources revealed that, on Monday August 9th 2021, he woke up in the morning and began his daily routine of prayers, study of the Holy scriptures, writing and sending out inspirational posts on WhatsApp; Some police officers at old town were on a security exercise *( cale' cale')* they knocked on his door and he opened and received them as they went in and searched the house. When the police went out, there were gun shots and commotion which triggered a heart attack. He began sweating profusely and on arriving the hospital , he was put in an oxygen as he had lost consciousness. Despite all medical efforts, at the Bamenda regional hospital, he died. Bamenda: Play kids discover a bag, with a gun inside

A pistol locally made, cartridges and some herbal protection items, known as " liar" was discovered Monday 6th of September 2021,at the neighborhood of cow street Bamenda III, by kids who were playing. The gun and the associates items were in a bag at the time of discovery. The kids happened to have stumbled on the bag, opened it and discovered the content. " My son and friends were playing and all of a sudden he came shouting to me, mama, I have seen a gun. I was shocked, he showed me the bag, and i immediately asked them to go keep it where they took it from. My neighbors and i called for Army rescue who came and took the bag away. That's all i can say". An eye witness and mother to one of the kids said. Elements of the army rescue who arrived the scene led by its commander, Paul Taku, are reported to have dismantled the pistol and taken it away. The residents of cow street are yet to understand who must have kept the bag containing the gun and cartridges

Anglophone armed conflict:Bali road block, Mezam SDO summon peace meeting

It is almost two months since the SDO of Mezam Simon Emile Mooh, issued a release banning the circulation of motor bikes in Bali sub division. This followed the killing of four security forces in Bali by separatists fighters. The effects of the ban has been disastrous following a counter decision from separatists fighters in Bali, banning the movement of vehicles in the sub division. The population of Bali have been going through untold hardship and challenges ,couple with the constant attacks by security forces in the sub division,in a bid to tackle separatists fighters. Of recent was the attack in a presbyterian church in Ntafoang Bali, that led to the dead of a christain ,one Ma Grace and the rev. pastor of the church wounded. The Bali sub division has been the centre of clashes between separatists fighters and government forces in recent days and the level of insecurity is a call for concern. Two Amba fighters, a civilian killed in Big Babanki.

Two seperatists fighters and a civilian have been killed in Lih quarter in kejom kejom, Big Babanki, Tubah sub division of the North West. A source narrates that disguised military in civilian attires stormed a seperatist checkpoint at Lih quarter yesterday August 4th 2021, opening fire and killing two fighters, Vutuh and Toh, while a male civilian who was in a verge of putting money into a bag as support was caught by a bullet. The civilian was a passenger of a bus heading to Kom in Boyo when they met the checkpoint. With the anglophone armed conflict entering its fifth year with no solution envisaged with calls from NGOs and other national and international bodies for a cease fire and genuine dialogue, fighting still intensify as seperatists fighters now targets government  forces in their bases and on the major streets of the North West and South West regions of Cameroon. At the time of school resumption for 2021- 2022 school year, major roads linking various divisions of the North West region like the Bambui- Fundong, Bamenda- Bali - Ekok stretches of roads are barred from car circulation. A ban imposed by Amba fighters making it hard for movements of pupils and students to move in and out of these areas. Coordinator of Omega ministry recieve fons of Oku and Noni in Bamenda.

The Fons of Oku and Noni villages of the North West region, have paid a visit to the national coordinator of OMEGA FIRE MINISTRY CANEROON, Rev Dr Kinga King who hails from Noni village. The visit took place Tuesday August 31st 2021 at PRAYER CITY EVENT center up station Bamenda. The Fon of oku and six other fons of Noni, disclosed that, they came to thank God for a son he has raised, with so much joy and gratitude, they acknowledged Rev Dr Kinga for the love and care he has been showing to the two villages and other communities.
